An all-inclusive concept

For municipalities and cultural institutions, the Musée-Atelier du Trompe-L’œil et du Décor Peint offers a temporary “rental exhibition” for a duration of three to six months.

This concept liberates its coordinators from the burden of organising an artistic event while providing a top-notch, innovative, unique concept.

A customized exhibition

The scenographer Philippe Serond designed the museum’s metallic structure comprised of collapsible partitions.
To set it up, painted canvases are stretched taut and affixed to the metal frame.

Six to seven itinerant galleries – of which the dimensions can be configured according to the space provided – display works of the various categories of trompe-l’oeil.

This concept allows the museum to be installed in exhibition spaces having a floor area between 400 and 600 m2, on one or several levels, with a minimum ceiling height of 3.50 m.
